Spotting and cramps

I'm 7 wks tomorrow and had spotting last week. I went to the Dr and they did an internal and said everything looked ok but retook my hcg anyway. It was 10355 and it was previously only 221.5. I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning but Sat spotted a little and now this morning started spotting again, have lots of cramps and its starting to get slightlly heavier. Its still not a flow or anything but its going from pink,peach,brown,and now a little red. I had red spotting before the HCG levels with clots. Has anyone had this and everything turned out ok? This is freaking me out because the cramps feel just like Af with backache and all. I don't know what to do or think. THanks for any advice.

i had heavy spotting with terrible cramping but no clots... and my baby was fine. was a large cyst bursting. =/ wasn't nice, maybe go to a&e and explain? i did i went in strait away and had a scan booked for 2 days time. x

Thanks for the advice. But that's the thing. I have a scan already for first thing in the morning. Did you know you had a cyst? I hear so many stories of spotting and everything being ok but with the cramps I have its freaking me out.

well then hold on tight for tomorrow hunnie, no i had no idea infact they told me both ovaries were surrounded by lots of free fluid and after my scan i had some pink spotting a few days after (wasnt my cervix tho) and then 10 days later went back for a follow up scan and was told one ovary was free of fluid but the other one still had some so whenever i see a bit of pink or whatever on the loo roll i blame it on that, esp since ive seen/heard the heartbeat so i know my baby is fine.

I had a few days of spotting when I was around 8wks. 1st day it was a streak of dark red in my mucus. The next day it was lots of very fine stringy light red streaks in my mucus like little capillaries... On that day, I also had bad lower back pain, and cramps... I was fearing the worst and crying a lot.

I contacted my consultant, and his secretary set up an emergency scan for me the next morning. DH and I braced ourselves for the worst but to my complete shock, I saw my little bean with a HB flickering away.... I am due for another scan tomorrow morning to check that everything is OK.

I know it is very scary. Stay strong and positive. FX everything will be OK for you.

Thanks so much for your story Nibbler. It is sooo scary. My Dr seems to think I'm havng twins so I just keep telling myself that its just my babies growing and making room! Thanks again for you support. Good luck with your next scan too and congrats on your little "olive"

I know exactly how you are feeling.

On Friday I went to the toilet and had blood when I wiped, the nothing again until the same thing happened on the Sunday. Do you still have any symptoms? I have had cramps on and off throughout the pregnancy, I think it's just the uterus stretching, but I was so worried. I was feeling my breasts about 50 times a day, and I even wore a pad to work on Monday because I was expecting a heavy bleed at any point, I was sure that was it.

It was affecting me so much that I had to pay for a private scan and much to my surprise everything was okay and I saw and heard the little heart beat.

Morning LAdies!! Well, just got back from the ultrasound and thank GOd everything is ok! There is only 1 baby but it is ok and heard a strong little heart beat! 122bpm. I'm so relieved!! Thank you all for you support! THey aren't sure why I'm still spotting but since everything looks fine I'll wait till my offical 1st OB appt Dec 2nd!

Congrats. I had a mc in July after spotting brown. I am now 6 weeks pregnant again and had pink when I wiped yesterday. I have early scan on Monday and I am terrified. But it is nice to read positive outcomes.

So sorry for your loss but congrats on your new baby! I was preggo with twins my last pregnancy and we lost one. So when I saw that red blood I was devastated. I've been looking around the forums and hearing so many positive outcomes after spotting but was just so scared something was wrong. It does give you such relief when you see they are ok. Sending you lots of you'll need it till you get your scan but know that its a really good chance your little baby is in there safe and sound. Please let me know what happens with your scan.

Congrats on the baby Hopeful! Yea, Dr put me on pelvic rest so no or lifting etc. I didn't realize how common spotting was during pregnancy. Still scary though. Do you hve a scan booked yet?
