spotting around AF time?

I have had two very early m/c so I am not sure what a healthy pregnancy feels like. I got another BFP yesterday. AF was due today. I have had lots of cramping, mild mostly but uncomfortable (although I know i am more aware of it than i would be if i wasn't ttc) This afternoon, I had a small amount of watery brown discharge and was sure I was starting to lose this pregnancy.

But then nothing.
Until now, and another few spots of watery brown discharge.

Could this be normal? I know some people have mentioned spotting a little bit around the time AF should be coming. Does that sound like what it looks like or is it more red/blood like?

Looking for reassurance, and praying for a miracle. Thanks ladies

totally normal. bleeding can go two ways which is why bleeding/discharge is so confusing. on your AF date it's more common because it might let a little slip out. but some people have normal spotting that can happen weeks later. but knowing you've had a MC before, i would still let your doc know just to be on the safe side

I was bleeding at 5w4d and 6w3d....scant brown when I wiped(TMI) but all is good. It is sooo common to bleed when PG. Don't worry unless its more than your usual AF and very crampy.

Only a tiny bit of a hint of brown when I wiped, but cramps are building a bit now - they seem to get worse at night.
Praying for a good nights sleep and no cramping or bleeding tomorrow to put my mind at ease. Praying tonight for our miracle x

I took a test (negative) the day before AF was due...when I went to clean up I noticed I had started AF, I continued to spot for about 3 days thinking it was my period. A week later when I started cramping I took a test (positive). I am 8w 2d now and everything is fine! So yes bleeding is normal just watch for clots and heavy cramping. Congrats!

That's exactly what happened to me on Monday/Tuesday when I was supposed to get AF. (I already got a faint BFP on Sunday).

But all I got was watery yellowy/beige marks in my knickers...I thought it was the start spotting leading up to a MC but on Wednesday it had disappeared and I haven't seen it since.

Still nervous I'll MC again but just taking each day at a time.

You are not too far ahead of me! I am 4w 2 days today and spotting has seemed to have stopped or at least has not led to bleeding as of this morning.

Really praying this one sticks. Praying for you too!
