Spotting before period??

Anyone else spot before there period if so how long does it last? My last couple of cycles have been crazy but it seems now that i spot for about four days (just a very small amount of brown blood when I wipe) then a light bleed for 2 days am worried this is not normal it's only been like this for my last 2 cycles I normally have really heavy periods anyone else experience this?

Hi hun

Have you had your progesterone levels checked. I tend to spot for a couple of days before and for the past couple of months have had cd21 bloods taken. Actually had them done multiple times in each cycle to make sure we caught the middle of my luteal phase. This has shown that my progesterone is a bit low, highest I've had is 25 nmol (UK measures) which although is normal is not particularly great. Although at least I am ovulating by myself. Might be an idea to get it checked. Xxx

I always spot 2 days before my period. B6 helped reduce the spotting for me!

Jesyliz I was thinking of seeing my doctor but felt like I might be wasting there time. Thanks belle I never knew I could get anything that would help with it I will look into getting some B6 x
