spotting between periods

Hi ladies, not been on here for so long, since I had my little girl a year ago in fact.

I am currently on the pill, last peiod started 2 weeks ago today, last night when I wiped I had some brown blood on the tissue, this morning its like a pinky red.

I never usually get spotting between periods and am a bit confused as to what this could be?

We have dtd a few times so its in the back of my head this could be implantation bleeding

I get a breakthrough bleed in the middle of my cycles on the pill (a brown discharge for a few days - not really enough for a pad though). I went to my doctor and they changed the pill I was on to one with slightly less progesterone (I think), but it hasn't really changed much. If it carries on or gets worse as the months go by, go see your doctor.

its now gone more heavy, almost like a proper flow, confusing. why do our bodies mess us about lol

my body has messed me about a lot for years! If it's become a proper flow maybe it's not implantation bleeding

There are loads of reasons that could cause your body to change it's cycle or to spot, most of them not so bad - just stress/losing or gaining weight... Hopefully this is just a one off for you
