Spotting help

Hi there,

I haven't posted in a while but I've got a question, I believe I ovulated on the 20th of June. On the 18th I had spotting, I thought it was af at first (I have really irregular periods) the again on the 22nd and 23rd I had spotting again, we had sex a lot around the 20th, my cervix is still really soft, I can't tell if it's open or closed and it doesn't feel spectacularly high or low! I am so confused can anyone help me?

I won't be much help, but anytime I had spotting I see my gyn immediately. Better safe than sorry when it comes to my baby maker.

Are you under the care of a fertility specialist?

Spotting can be caused a multitude of reasons - https://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/976.aspx?CategoryID=60

It's difficult to say what caused it but I would say that if it is a one off that you shouldn't worry about it, if it continues you might need to have your gp investigate.

It's not bleeding just slight pink tinge when I have wiped once on each day, which I read was normal around ovulation, I was just looking to see if anyone had a similar experience and whether they got their bfp afterwards.

I've never experienced bleeding related to O or implantation or general early pregnancy, so anytime there is blood I see my primary care doctor or gyn. For what it's worth, it's never anything serious. . Was your bd particularly rough or not as lubricated as usual? I am a worry wart, so I don't like that it happened three different days.

And even if it isn't O bleeding or it is, sounds like you got it on quite a bit near/in your fertile window so chin up. No sad faces . If it was O bleeding, that isn't going to improve your chances unless the rumors are true about grade quality eggs and cramps/bleeding.

Oh I see, my pregnancy had a small amount of implantation bleeding last year, but I didn't have ovulation bleeding. We didn't have rough sex (we can't due to... Sizeable issues) and we ALWAYS use lubricant due to the same reason. I thought it was weird, but then my entire reproductive area is weird so I don't know, I think I might take a trip to my GP anyway, might be good news haha

The thing is, I just want it to be pregnancy, my back hurts, I'm constipated (tmi - had my first poo in 5 days this morning) I cried three times yesterday because of television which never happens. I just wish that this is pregnancy instead of period xx

I think your d there aren't doctor is the only one who can give you solid answers. Just because I am a glass half empty ttcer from my experiences, doesn't mean there aren't women out there who went through your situation and are pregnant. Hugs. Even if it isn't your cycle, regroup, and we are here for the next one.

What lube are you using?

Thank you for the support, I use conceive plus, we have no choice but to use lube unfortunately, we tried pre seed but didn't like it.

Hey, you have to do what works for you and sounds like you are keeping ttc in mind. I haven't heard of that brand. Do they do research or just claim to be safe?

They were recommended by a doctor so I hope so haha! I have just checked my cervix and I can barely reach it, now it is rock hard and very tightly closed, I'm remaining hopeful until I can see a doctor

Well I'm only 8dpo now, I hate this wait, but I have such a good feeling about this month, how are you getting on?

Yeah, the wait to test stinks and then when AF comes the wait to ovulate sucks just as much. r_r As far as TTC goes, I'm fine. Really pissed that these tickets fell through for a concert I wanted to take SO to today. Sigh.
