Spotting? Late AF? Or something else?

Hello ladies,

I've posted this on threads in 2WW but wondered if anyone over here has any ideas? Apologies if u r reading this & fed up with me! 

I thought I O'd on 29th August, then 8days later had really bad cramps but no bleeding. I expected AF to show as usual on CD27 (Mon 12th Sept) but nothing! 3 BFN's and a further 8 days later I noticed a small amount of pinky blood on tissue when I wiped but not enough to need a tampon.
I thought AF had arrived albeit in an unusual way, but the next morning just pink/brown, dry/sticky discharge when I wiped but again not much. I used 1 light tampon that day & another the next but i needn't have bothered (i hate using liners) as it was just brown it was not saturated (sorry tmi)
So for 48 hrs I had this unusual discharge that hasn't been a flow - I have no clue what it means - an unusual 8 day late AF or something else?

I have now had nothing since yesterday but don't know if I'm out & should I move onto CD3 or do i wait to do another hpt?
I did another test this am but BFN!
Any ideas much appreciated, thanks Xx

Sounds like it could have been a really weird af. Sometimes we get those! But you could always go to your dr. for a blood test, just in case!
