Spotting with backache

hi girls...

I have been spotting off and on for a week now. And just the last day or so I have had some minor lower back pain. My spotting has been light brown old blood barely enough to get on my underwear. I also have severe nausea at the moment. Think I have anything to worry about?

I am going to see my doc today at 2pm. I will update then. Fingers crossed for me. Oh yeah...I am just about 7 weeks.

I'm having similar problems, 7 weeks and 3 days today, have endometriosis too and have been having a very hard time with this pregnancy due to endo pain. Last 2 days the pain has been worse and more in my back. Had a spot of brown blood this morning and the pain is continuing, no further bleeding yet. So hard for me to differentiate between what pain is normal or not I have so much of it! Have a scan at 5w 6d, only saw a sac and yolk but no fetal pole so I'm worried. Re-scan is this Thursday, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Had an ultrasound yesterday and was able to see the heartbeat! My doc says everything looks good but anytime you have any form of bleeding/spotting they call it a threatened miscarriage. She thinks I will be fine but told me to take it easy just in case. No sex (oh darn), no heavy lifting or exercise. So we shall see.

Kimmy74-are you going to see your doctor? I am sure they will be able to put your mind at ease. I will be thinking of you.

I feel this real heaviness in my uterus and crampy (front and back), I am fearing the worst. I just have this bad feeling. I'm having a scan tomorrow. Dreading the worst.

Im going through this right now, I want to reassure you that my scan at the hospital yesterday showed a baby with heartbeat and wriggling away! Its so difficult to stay positive when your mind is overtaken by negativity. Stay strong and I hope that all is well xxxxx

Thats fantastic news for both you girls, I'm so pleased for you. My spotting has slowed down. However I've been up since 3 am with with back and pelvic pain. Also had diarrhoea twice yesterday which is odd becaused all along I've only suffered with constipation. Did you girls have pain with your spotting?

Yes I have had lots of back pain too. My doc said that was normal. Still spotting but still sick as a dog so I take that as a good sign.

Did you have your scan yesterday?

Update, I too had my scan yesterday, and they were able to see the heartbeat too. God I'm so relieved. My pain was so bad I truly thought that it was almost over. Again I was told to rest, thanks girls, you've been a big help in reassuring me. I think thats 3 of us now that have had spotting, amazing isn't it.

YAY!! That is great news Kimmy!! I think my spotting has finally stopped but this MS is kicking my butt.

I am still having a backache and some cramping off and on. I am not too stressed though because I am so sick! I just can't wait for this first trimester to be over with. If one more person tells me to relax and enjoy it, I am going to have a meltdown. LOL!

Thanks Erin, I'm delighted. I'm still spotting, back pain is intermittent. I am having bad pain that I think is round ligament pain, its awful. I really hope this spotting stops soon too.
