Start of testing

Hi ladies I have been to my gp and they r putting me through some tests, one was a swab so I had that done and it came back with clusters of group strep b bacteria present, doctor said nothing to worry about unless I was going birth but surely it must do summit to the sperm passing through. She said unless it's causing me infection like symptoms then there was no need for antibiotics as this is natural bacteria that is found in 22% of adult women's foo foo.
I am just worried if this may actually be affecting the sperm and killing them off before they get any further.
Any one have any more information
