I'm stuck and can't decide. It'll be just me, DH, Kayleigh and Charlie eating.

I'll eat pretty much anything, although I won't have soup for a starter as i think it's too filling.

Kayleigh won't eat mushrooms.

DH won't eat any seafood.

So thats soup, prawn cocktail, smoked salmon and stuffed mushrooms out!:dohh:

Hellpp!!!!!!

we often have had before little veg spring rolls, prawn toast etc and chilli dip, like all the little 'snacks' you get to share as a starter - sounds odd, but it's just something different :) x

We've never had a starter as I think its to much but you could do some sort of soufle? Melon and parama ham?

stuffed peppers? not very xmassy but all i can think of is seafood!

I was considering doing soup but like you thought it would be too filling and thinking of something else.. could just do a little salad? Like rucculoa with cherry tomatos and parmesan shavings with balsamic vinegar. Parma ham would go with that too.

Thanks everyone. I made pate last year and think I may result in that again. It's nice cold for tea too so that helps as the inlaws have invited themselves!!

Forgot to say that Kayleigh doesn't like melon!! :dohh:

I thought id remembered someone making pate last year ... how did it turn out?
