Upto now weve been using condoms but I find them to be a right passion killer and my hubby isnt keen as the ones we have seem to be a bit on the small size.....

So I went this morning and I got some cezarette. I've heard it mentioned on here loads so I'm thinking there are a few other mum's on it.

I usually have Microgynon which is a combi-pill not mini. The dr I saw is pretty useless with anything to do with BF.... He said to take it on the first day of my next period then I reminded him I'm BF so he said I need to take a HPT then start the next day - I assume it's dangerous to start if youre preggo.

He said I may bleed but might not and I may get pain.....

So any BF mum's on it?? How was / is it for you??

im on it, it forced me to have a really painfull period within the first week. Then nothing.... i had a bit of PMT but no blood xxx

i took it as soon as i stopped bleeding after having Faith. as long as you use protection for 7 days you can take it right away.

im on this. its great, i dont get periods not like you would anyway BF... but i was bf when i started it, never had problem with it.

three hours with most of the mini pills but if i remember with this one its 12 hours but the longer you leave it the more risk you are taking...

I started it about 3 weeks ago and had to come off it last night due to side affects that i suffered (continous headaches, VERY spotty but dry skin, no energy) I used to be on microgynon so will go back onto that once I finish breastfeeding.

I was on this and had to stop due to terrible mood swings and awful tearfulness. As soon as I stopped I could tell the difference. I hope you fair a bit better!
You can start this one straight away, just stick with the condoms for the next 7 days. Enjoy!!! x

hey ive been on it for 2 months now, tho keep forgetting to take it so havent ever actually been 'safe' and was on antibiotics recently so stopped taking it (dont worry absolutely NO chance of me getting preg iykwim..)
no side effects for me anyways, had a very light bleed/'period' after a week..

ive had a nightmare with this....

i took it a couple of years ago and i didnt have a period it was fab, however i took it after having tommy and my periods are all over the place this month so far ive been on three times..no pain just bleeding constantly!!
