I love the Aldi wooden toys. They have a great selection there at the moment. My DS got the car garage toy last year

Oh my golly that is insane! I was looking for inspiration for mum on pinterest and come across this! How can kids not be totally overwhelmed?? Nothing would be special any more with this load! I am actually a bit disgusted.

ETA and mind you I am not talking about the money she spent but the sheer pile of presents!

I could be thinking of a different story but I'm sure if I remember correctly she has like 6+ kids. I mean, its still not a small amount, but its definitely something to take in to account. Mine would probably look ridiculous next to someone who had just 1 or 2 kids.

Oh for sure but the story says she has 3 kids! And each of them gets 300 presents. EACH!
I struggle to find 10 meaningful non tatty presents for mine lol

Ah, it must be a different story then, I remember one woman being on something like The Morning the other year as people were criticising her for how much she had bought but I remember thinking if she had 6 or more kids then it would look huge. I know ours doesn't fit under a tree by the time family and friends have all contributed too. But they are always really grateful, like I've never had them open socks and be disappointed

Yeah when we were at my parents' house and there were all the presents for my boys, my niece and nephews, my parents, my brother and his then gf and the friends who come to visit nothing fit under the tree either lol.
