Still in shock from the gender scan...

Pointless thread but just had to say it out loud - I had my 20 week scan two weeks ago and found out I'm having a little girl. I have one boy and I'm just so surprised.

My pregnancy has been practically the same as my first, and I just thought I would be one of those people that has two of the same. Heck, I thought if I had four children they would all end up being boys. So I can't quite believe the one I'm carrying has girly bits...

I think I'm going to have to ask my midwife tomorrow what the chances of them being wrong are....

Aww congrats on your little girl I'm pretty sure il be exactly like you if I'm told my baby's a boy because I just think it will be another girl lol

Wislet I feel exactly the same! I was convinced I was having another boy as the pregnancy has been exactly the same so far! I go from being completely over the moon about having a girl and then scared as heck!

LOL congratulations!!! when I was told my 3rd was a girl I ended up paying for 2 private scans to confirm

I do feel like this one will be a boy, but have had a very different pregnancy.
Ill be shocked if I am lucky enough to have a girl tbh!

Lol...congrats on your princess, I too went through this it just felt too good to be true as I thought I would have another boy but I had a private gender scan done after my 20 weeks scan just to check for SURE She was Definatley a girl lol and she is! I totally know the feeling of being too good to be true...once again congrats on being team Pink!..xx

I felt the exact same with my second! I thought i would be having all boys too . I didnt believe it until a scan at 36 weeks showed the sonographer was very much correct at my 20 week scan clearly a girl i was so tentavily buying pink for all those weeks lol i think to ease doubt def go for a private scan to double check.that way you can really enjoy without wondering x

That's how I feel I have 5 boys n have been told my 6th n last baby is a little princess n I don't believe it so waiting for my 20week scan to confirm and probably will have a 3 d scan at 28 weeks too lol

22 weeks. im sure its a girl. I really dont trust anything earlier then 20 weeks. we had a gender scan at 17 weeks and were told boy!! then at our 20, 22,26 and 36 ultrasound..all said girl!!

Congrats hun. We had our gender scan the wkend and this pg has also been same, nausea etc and me and hubby were convinced we were having another girl so suprised when they said boy! Lol.

Thanks for all the replies ladies! Just had my midwife appointment and she said in her 10 years, they have only been wrong once. So think I just need to relax and accept that odds are, she's not going to turn into a boy in the delivery room!
