Do i still need to avoid peanuts like in pregnancy, i have a picnic bar thats calling me

I cant believe you havent already.....you have way too much restraint!!

No reason to avoid it unless there's peanut allergy in the family. I've bin eating crunchy nut cornflakes, satay sauce etc.

Nuts are good for you....erm not sure about them in Picnic bars though:rofl:

chocolate comes from a bean, beans are part of your 5 a day, chocolate's healthy!!

LOL about the chocolate, I never avoided peanuts or anything during pregancy or any other time with my kids...well when they were eating we didn't give it until 1-2yrs old

oh ok, I thought it was recommended there or something. Just wondering then? If that's why you avoided them, wouldn't you want to keep doing it if it was only a reason the effected you?

i have eaten what ever i want during breastfeeding, and have never noticed any effect on Robyn.

they say if you've got allergies/excema or anything liket hat not to eat nuts whilst pregnant cos it can increase the chances of allergies xx

Oh ok, here they don't tell us that, well if allergies maybe, not so much with eczema

Like hevz said, you only need to avoid certain foods if you have a family history of an allergy.

i'm avoiding a couple of things as i notice it results in bellyaches for my little one - strawberries and onions to be exact!

Plus, chocolate has milk in it, milk is a dairy product so is one of the major food groups.
