it took nearly an hour to get the spinal block in the right location due to me having many spinal surgeries the anatomy of my spine is abnormal. So many times they tried different locations and angles on my spine - most of the time striking bone with the needle....which hurt like hell.
But like a hard ass i sat there and took it.
That was 10 days ago and i still feel so bruised and tender on my spine. I can only assume that the bone is bruised from the repeated attempts for the block.
Once they got the block in the right location it was blissful and i lay there giggling as my feet went warm and tingly....and then totally numb strange sensation.
Anyone else felt this bruising after a spinal block? if so how long did it take to subside? xx
