I posted when Ryan was 16 weeks old (he's nearly 17 months now), to ask if it was normal that I was still producing a tiny bit of colostrum/breastmilk.. (I stopped b/f'ing when he was 2 weeks old)

Now.. I'm wondering if it's STILL normal? It doesn't bother me or anything, but I was just interested..

I've read somewhere that some women will keep producing milk for years or even forever.
There's nothing wrong with it at all--it just means you would have been an excellent wet nurse!xxx

To be honest i'd have a word with your gp about it, it may be normal but it can be associated with pituitary disorders so best to get it checked out.

If it's just a tiny bit then it's nothing to worry about and is actually quite common. If it's more than a tiny bit then it might be worth getting checked out for any hormonal imbalances.

My best friend still produced for about 2 years after her daughter weened.
