Hello,

My wife is in her 14th week, and last night she told me that her stomach was not feeling good ( discomfort, and pain).. She thinks it was due to the food she ate. After she went to the bathroom, she slept fine, and this morning all is good.

Should we be worried ?

no i wouldnt unless there is blood, i get pains and discomfort at night sometimes too.

That happens to me sometimes, my digestive system seems WAY more sluggish lately and sometimes can be a bit crampy. If a bathroom trip resolved it, she's grand : )

That's been happening to me since I was 17 weeks (I'm 20+4 at the moment). Not quite sure where the pain comes from, but I believe that it comes from my constipation and/or from the ligaments streching. My midwife has confirmed so.

If I cough or sneeze, I also experience a sharp and short pain. Feeling the baby is also slightly funny, although I won't call it painful...just weird...

So unless the pain is excruciating, do not worry. A pregnant woman's body suffers many transformations and is normal to experience "new/unusual pains".

making me feel better as well! I'm almost 17 wks and for the last two weeks, combination of constipation and uterus stretching has my dh terrified that there's a huge problem. I think not as no blood or cramps.

best wishes
