In addition to aversions to certain foods, I'm finding that things like strong smells (perfumes, lotions, candles etc.) as well as sounds are turning my stomach too! The sound aversion is what really gets to me. Things like boiling water, squeaky shopping carts, and my whiney cat are making me so nauseous!

Does anyone else have aversions to strange things? Is this normal?

I know what you mean!
I'm finding that I have aversions to most foods - so far I can handle fruit (that isn't too sweet - so bananas, apples, pears, green grapes), crackers/bread/pasta etc, cold cereal, sometimes pudding, cheese, some veggies
I can't stand anything smelly anymore. I have stopped wearing perfume and even the smell of my own deoderant nauseates me!

And loud noises just irriate the crap out of me and make me irrationally angry

My perfume has made me feel ill. I get travel sick which is fun on the bus! Dont like coffee much anymore whereas I would normally drink it by the bucketload. Loud noise is annoying too. Did hear of one woman who couldnt stand the natural smell of her OH and they married when she was pregnant and they had to stand a distance apart or she would be sick!!!

I have a weird one......necklaces!

I haven't worn a necklace since my sickness started. The feel of them on my neck makes me was to throw up! Looking forward to wearing the two new necklaces I got for my birthday. My MIL probably thinks I didn't like it!!
