Strange contractions...

...:wave: hello ladies

Quick question for you - I am having sporodic contractions (again ) which are pretty strong (moderate) and frequent if I stand up but all but disappear if I lie down again.

Anyone have any ideas that would explain this?

Is your LO fully engaged? if not maybe that is what is going on?

No, only 2/5ths but with this being number 3 I didnt think too much of it!

Possibly could be Lo engaging more and you getting up and down possibly helping??? I don't know just taking a guess!
I wish mine would engage!

I have the same thing and its always worse if Im standing...or sitting but when Im laying in bed it pretty much goes away.
I guess it could be baby engaging and then not since this is my second?

This is my 2nd. However my first was 11 years ago so I am assuming it's like another new experience for my body. But maybe I am wrong??

No, my first was 7 years ago and I even feel like its completely different for my body but engaging is more based on what your hips did the first time around I believe.....so your hips would have changed with the first and wouldnt change back. I dont really know though lol, I know I've had a MUCH harder pregnancy this time around....7 years is a big difference on your body......lol
