Hi All in 3rd Tri,

I hope you don't mind but I really want to move over here a little early as the topics in 2nd tri don't really seem as relevant anymore and I think this question may get a better response in 3rd Tri....Basically I've been having BH contractions for quite a while now which I know is normal but over the last week they have gotten stronger and when I have them my breathing kind of goes shallow and it feels like I'm getting a rush of blood to my head ....its strange and I don't remember getting that kind of feeling with my first child, I actually have to stop what I'm doing and take deep breaths to try and get my breath back.

Has anyone else experienced this weird feeling along with the BH contractions....perhaps its normal I just remember getting a tightening feeling with my first.

sorry i dont have any advoce but this happened to me this morning while in post office que lol i wondered what the hell was happening to me so ill be interested to see what others say x

ooohhh could possibly be the start of proper contractions for you then :winkwink: you only have 8 days to go :happydance:

lol :happydance: I'm going to feel exactly the same when my time gets close....good luck...hope its the start of something

I have it... I am not sure if what I have is BH, but I have the same feeling of lack of air and I have to take a deep breath when in comes...
Hope it helps

Yes! This happens to me all the time just lately. My bh's are pretty horrible, not in a particulary painful way, but they are very uncomfortable, and I get breathless too. Sometimes I get them so often I find it hard to walk. Like you I didn't have them with my first pregnancy, but that's normal x

Thanks guys, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one ....it has worried me a little as I though maybe it could be related to blood pressure (although my BP has always been fine) I have a Midwife appointment on 13th so will mention it then :)

I have the same. like my head goes all tight and my breathing goes weird. I don't know why it is but I'm going to ask my midwife about it tomorrow.
