Hi ladies,

I have been looking all over for some sort of light to be shed on this but I figured if anyone could give me some advice you would be all of you

I had a very early miscarriage at 5+6 at the start of this month, and me and OH decided we would get straight back on the horse and carry on where we left off. But since my period/bleeding stopped, my body has been just odd (I have taken FRER's and IC to make sure all HCG was out of my system and we got BFN's, to check it wasn't left over HCG playing havoc with me!)

(I know TMI doesn't exist here but here's my apology before hand) I think I ovulated today (we haven't used OPK's as the doc advised they may be all over the place but my body told me I was laying an egg) but for the past 7-10ish days I seem to be constantly wet and have large amounts of CM, EWCM, creamy CM, Watery CM, you name it I have had it all..and enough to make me feel slightly uncomfortable at work. I have also had AF cramps and twinges on and off for the past week and boobs/nipples being sore on and off for a few days and I am currently the moodiness bitch living...(my poor OH has a bad neck from a night on the sofa to prove it, but obviously I forgave him in time for :sex: this morning :haha:)

Now, I know that I'm not pregnant and I'm not trying to make my symptoms sound like I think I am, but what the hell is going on?! we have been TTC for 17 cycles now, so I can quite confidently say I have never experienced things like this, the constant CM being the biggest mystery to me! I did mention it to my doctor, as I am having my CD21 blood tests shortly, and he said that my body should be pretty much back to normal, so he can't see why all of this is going on...

Did anyone have a really odd cycle after miscarriage? Or know of any reason why this is going on? I am genuinely bewildered...

Thanks for putting up with my ramblings! :flower:

I'm at the end of my first cycle after a D&C, but honestly the only time I've had copious amounts of CM is when I'm ovulating but that only lasts a day or two at most for the most part. When I was pregnant I had constant CM, so are you sure you're not pregnant? Have you taken a test??

Im just now on my AF after my M/C, and I have to say it was the craziest ride body wise. I was naseated from the day before Ovulation until 2 days before I got my AF. I had CM that was ALL over the place. The 2 days leading up to AF, as soon as the nasea had went away, my CM was nothign but watery! It drove me BONKERS! and my CP was not the normal for me either..

Obviously I cant say if what you are experienceing is like mine, but it sounds very simpliar with everything being out of wack and nothing being as straight froward as normal.

confusedprego - I wish I was, at least then I would know what was going on! But numerous IC and FRER tell me other wise... I am thinking pregnant though in the hope it might bring me some luck :dohh: The thing is that is why I was so confused, I had constant CM when I got my BFP, it just doesn't seem to have gone away..

Chirizma- Thanks so much, at least I know I'm not going mad! I forgot to mention my cervix, she has not been 'normal' since we went through the mc, for about a week after the bleeding she still felt low, swollen and closed and now she's goes from low to medium and open, closed, open, closed...

After a MC it's very, very common for your hormone levels to be all over the place. It's to be expected, really. All these hormones have influences on your CM and other things, so it's pretty normal for it all to be a bit weird.

It took me 6 months to feel "normal" again, cycle-wise, after my MMC which is longer than most. If it goes on for another cycle, or if you experience any bleeding or pain, it's probably best to seek medical advice.

My first cycle after a loss is always odd and I've always been told to not ttc then. Like you, I've had extra CM. Oodles and oodles. If things are still not right after your first period then by all means go see your doctor. In the meantime, unfortunately, expect a little oddness. :hugs:
