I'm 34 weeks pregnant and over the past few days, events not related to my pregnancy have made me incredibly stressed. I'm stuck in the middle of family and I'm trying to stay uninvolved and impartial but the situation is complex and very upsetting.
I'm very stressed and angry and crying a lot. I am concerned about the baby, they must be feeling all my horrible feelings.
I saw midwife and I know all is okay with baby but I didn't tell them about the issues because they're not very approachable and I never see the same person! I'm not really concerned for me, apart from the stress makes me lose my appetite which isn't good the baby. I'm just worried about how it's effecting the baby at this late stage. Can it bring on labour? Will it effect the heart rate? It's really hard to stay calm when the situation around you is so horrible :-(

I can't say for sure, but to out your mind at rest a little, I have been similarly very stressed over the last couple months and my BP has been PERFECT (totally shocked by this) as has babys heart rate. Me and my OH are in the process of buying our first house which we move to when this lo will b 3 months old and I also have a very active 3 year old, plus on top of this (which is obviously "nice" stress), my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in february which has been hard.

Hope you and baby stay stress free huni :hugs:

Didn't want to read and run. I have had a stressful pregnancy before and I know how hard caring for two lives and wanting to crumble can be on you. My baby turned out perfect as could be though. She was a very relaxed go with the flow baby. She's 3 now and healthy as can be but has a very strong take no shit kinda attitude. Lol I hope you situation calms down a little and you can take a second to breathe.
