Would you be annoyed to? Here's the email I just sent them:
I ordered four things on your website on Friday 13th January 2012. A Moses basket, a Moses basket stand, a pack of two Moses basket sheets, and a cot mattress.
For some unknown reason, the website ironically said that the smallest item (two Moses basket sheets) were heavy and require a two man lift! Therefore I would have to wait to be contacted to arrange delivery for them. They are two small sheets! Why do I have to arrange another delivery meaning I am potentially waiting in 8am to 6pm for two days not just one? I could understand if I were ordering a kingsize bed or a wardrobe or something.
When I called your customer service team about the issue, I got through to speak to someone. She was very unhelpful and just said that I was in the wrong department. Even though I'd pressed all of the correct digits for home delivery > existing order > queries about existing order.
She transferred me through to the correct department (as she said.)I finally got an answer after 5 minutes of having opera music blasted in my ear.
After explaining the whole thing for the second time, after giving all of my reference numbers for the second time, the lady in this department said the same thing, that I was through to the wrong department and she would transfer me across.
After two attempts of transferring me (again) she repeated herself by saying the lines were busy and I would have to call back later. Why should I? Neither of those two ladies wanted to take responsibility and look after me as a customer. After wasting 15 minutes of my time getting thrown backwards and forwards I got nowhere, only to be told I had to do it again later!
Why are Moses basket sheets a two person lift?
Why do I get to the wrong department after pressing the right buttons?
Why am I still in the wrong department after being transferred by a member of staff?
And why after 15 minutes of being shunned, am I left here with an unsolved problem and expected to call again?
I am very upset as I have spent a lot of money with you over the past few years in store and online. The service was appalling.
