Stressing out...

Hi ladies,

So last Tuesday me and my OH ended up having a "cuddle" now this was 3 days before my period... I still haven't come on and have period pains but not a sign of anything and my periods are already 31 days apart as it is. For the last 6months I've been on, on the 04/05th.

I was just wondering would a test even show up positive after a week?
Surely the pregnancy hormone wouldn't be strong enough yet?

Anyone ever been through this or in the same position?

I already have 2 children so I'm not trying to be naive.

Hi, unless you ovulated very late this cycle I think it would be very unlikely that you're pregnant. Most women ovulate around 2 weeks before their next period is due, so the egg should have been long gone by the time you had sex. Maybe something delayed ovulation by a few days if you're normally very regular? If you did ovulate that late, it takes around 7-10 days for an egg to implant so you probably won't be able to reliably test for another week. Good luck
