stretch marks and bikinis

Just wondering what your views are about wearing a bikini and exposing your stretchmarks? After 3 kids my stomach is in a mess ! Stretchmarks are hip to hip and up to my belly button, my stomach now resembles a deflated balloon and is not nice to look at. I don't think I would feel comfortable with them on display, although I am proud of why I have stretchmarks, I am not proud of them.

i wouldn't wear a bikini because of my stretch marks but thats because i wouldn't be comfortable and would be worrying about others staring
i think it depends if you are comfortable in the bikini then go for it x

i went on holiday afew weeks ago and my bump is covered in stretch marks left over from zane :/ i was very insecure and didnt no if id be ok in the bikinis i had bought.

got over there and the state of some of the women was far worse then me, so i got in my bikini and felt comfortable

if u hate the idea go for a all in 1

I wouldn't but not because I would be ashamed. I just wouldn't be comfortable and people can be cruel and I would worry I would get jibes. What about a nicely cut out one piece? Like the ones bond girls wear or a tankini

go for all in ones, they do some really nice ones now. i wore a bikini last year and i have to admit, i wasnt as confident as i was pre pg. i dont care for the silvery strechmarks so much, it the 'deflated' balloon look that i dont like, the skin around my belly button is wrinkly because of the stretched skin, resembles a 90 year olds belly xx

I went on holiday 2 weeks ago and had to go out to buy something to wear in the swimming pool
I got an all in one from George, which actually looks like a two piece but with a longer top.
Its really nice actually x

I have a deflated balloon belly too after 2 kids but have bought bikinis. Im not at all bothered about my stretchmarks, but my wobbly loose skin tummy. Ive bought little beach skirts and shorts to sort of hide it but I`ll still be wearing a bikini top and will be going in the pool without them on...you see much worse than yourself on holiday...I really wouldnt worry

i would never. mine are above my belly button, below it, on my thighs (front and back) - i have to wear a cut-out swimsuit like posted earlier which hides my stomach ones, then i have to grin and bear my legs ones! X

haha i want to be a 65+ year old going topless, power to the oldies although i also want to be the oldie having scooter races, and having my tv way to load..

I dont have that problem though oh mum would never go topless shes too embarssed by her lack of boobs

It wasn't just OH's mum it was his Aunty too! It was really weird. I asked OH if he thought it was weird and he just said no I guess he's used to it.

I found it properly awkward though!!!! I wouldn't get my baps out infront of his Dad or my Dad or anyone for that matter!

when i was in barcelona, there were pensioners, old wrinkly leather handbag type women, boobs down to their hips, going topless.

Id kill for just stretchmarks if i was them i didnt know where to look either, and liam was mortified. He was like 'that'll be you in 30 years' i could have slapped him for thinking that'll be me when im 50
