Stringy discharge but no surge???

I've been having stringy discharge for about 3 days now...normally it's not stringy... Am on cycle day 17 and from day 15 (which happens to be from the 15th April) it has been stringy.....the clear blue fertility monitor has not seen a spike in ovulation it's just gone from low to medium.... A tad confused haven't dtd for a while so 99% sure I'm not pregnant .... Anyone?

Yes! I have had this, either it turns to proper ew and I surge and O. Or, I don't surge and my body tries again a few weeks later. I think it is the body trying to ovulate and estrogen not quite high enough. It can go either way I think.

I had this on and off for about two weeks this cycle! Then it turned to proper EWCM a couple of days before my OPK turned positive. I think its all a good sign! xx
