Strong smells...

Is anyone else experiencing an incredible increase in your sense of smell?

Today i was at the end of the house and suddenly got the strongest smell of old bananas. I called out to hubby and he was absolutely amazed and entertained as he had only just opened the fridge containing the bananas and even standing right next to them he couldnt smell them!!!
And now he has just mowed the lawn and accidentally mowed over a fresh present the dog had just deposited in the longer grass. I was inside the house and it stank SO bad!!! I went outside to see what he had done and as soon as i walked out hubby said 'no way you can smell that!!!'

He thinks its great fun trying to get me to smell things now.

Yep!!! I've had strong sense of smell too, My OH's side of the bed even smells to me I keep having to change sheets Lol, He can't smell anything xxx

Yes! With my dd but not my ds. And again this time (must be a girl)! I used to work at a salon and one of the girls came in off her lunch break and I could smell red bull on her breath from across the room, and another girls strawberry chapstick! Supersmell! It gets annoying tho, emptying the scrap bucket or rubbish bin is gag material >.< Now that im nearly 11 weeks it is starting to fade thank goodness. I had it before I even knew I was pregnant

Yeh this happened with me too although not so strong now.

I started cutting up raw chicken and realised it stunk and was convinved that it was off. my partner said it smelt normal and there was nothing wrong with it. He was right. but gee it really did smell to me!

Yeah, it's like a superpower isn't it I can tell if OH has been drinking tea or coffee as soon as he walks in the room!

I work in a lab and we sometimes use strong smelling chemicals that are bad enough normally, so now they are going to be unbearable! I'll have to leave the building haha x

Same for me. Unfortunately, it only works for smells that make me feel sick....

same here - ohs side of the bed to me smells like raw meat lmao. i cant stop smelling everything!

yip, i can smell things downstairs from upstairs, his shoes(gross), the dog, and the other day i woke up and could smell what smely like cat poo, i was convinced. huibby kept saying no its not, i searched the house and eventually found it. i then realised our very sneaky cat was in the house, shes not allowed in over night as she has a tendency to poop. hubby couldnt believe id smelt it from opening my eyes. it was downstairs.

My sense of smell is definitely well developed right now, not great when my husband comes in from milking the cows smelling really ripe. I've had to leave a clean pair of jeans outside the back door so he can change before he comes in, just as well we live in the middle of nowhere!

I'm with you on that one! My oh came over when I hadn't seen him the night before and I could smell smoke on his hair!! Busted!! Also I heave every time the fridge is opened!! Dreading work Tuesday (I'm a nurse) and heave at the smells at the best of times!!

Ew yes my DH's overalls stink so bad, I had to milk with him for a week while our worker was away and I would do the whole milking with my nose blocked just breathing thru my mouth!
