First started thinking of names when we found out I was pregnant in February.

All along we stuck with Lucas for a boy... No questions asked or doubts. Loved it from the day my OH said it.

We couldn't think of any names for a girl and he said Taylor, which I'm really not a fan of plus it makes it sound like his nephews name Tyler. Putting aside my nephews/nieces names (Kian, Archie, Tynesha and Kacie).

Now he's agreeing with his dads choice of Lily. Everyone I know is calling their baby Lily. Not to mention one being a total bitch. Also links to the flower meaning death :/

His mum likes Georgie, sounds too much like my brother-in-laws niece Georgia.

Found out on 31st May that we're expecting a girl. Made things hell of a lot harder now I'm under pressure.

She will be taking her dads surname which is Blanshard. Any help? :-k

Lucas was a big yes for a boy. Wouldn't ever change it.

We finally tied the thoughts on Ava, second choice was Ella :)

Ella is also on my shortlist... a really lovely, simple name. I also like Claire.

I did consider Ava, but i didnt 'love' it like i wanted to? Although it is beautiful, it doesnt feel like it suits my baby.
My girls name is going to be Aoife (Ee-fa) Marya Noelle. Our second girls choice was Calliope (Cal-aye-oh-pee) Maela Nina.
Other girls names we considered were: Piper, Briony, Imogen, Maelie/Maelyn, Libby, Hatti, Spencer, Aria/Areya, Norah, Avery and Lysette.

    Good luck :flower:
