im not keen on the style shes done either, when i had my hair this short i always curled it and it looked great, tricky to do but looks good lol
u cud even buy clip inhair extentions which arent expensive and have a longer style like maybe wavy with hair up with a nice clip.

i wanted a quiff with messy curly hair for my wedding but my bil whos a hairdresser did it all neat i wasnt impressed lol

Thanks for your honest opinion

Do you have a photo of your hair?

I thought about extentions but would it be me, I dont want to look too different from how I look now but I want to feel special if you know what I mean.

to be honest with you- im not keen on what she's done either- infact id be really angry.

For the big day, because you have beautiful shiny hair- keep it down but get some real volume and shine into it- ask for a deep condition or some shine serum and really make it stand out with bold colour and then use a beautiful hairpiece to make impact!

I think simple short hair looks gorgeous on brides- as long as its in great condition and shines!!!

Thanks Honeybee2, I think your right
"keep it down but get some real volume and shine into it"

I like my hairstyle at the moment, so why do something totally different, am going to get some deep conditioner tomorrow, thanks for your help:hugs:

so glad you decided to go along! Dont get me wrong, have a professional & expensive hair treatment & blow dry on the big day- get pampered, feel special and they will make you look incredible!!!!

Good luck- cant wait to see pics!!!

ile try n find a pic of my hair when it was short n curly but i was drunk lol so it might not look great hahaha n also post my wedding hair.
id maybe go to a different hairdresser, this one doesnt seem good at all.

if u did the extentions they dont have to be long at all, maybe just to add afew inches to the bottom.

ye tiny curls look lovely- have a go yourself and see!

Well, i'm only browsing on my phone so I may not be seeing it how the other girls are seeing it, but I can picture that hairstyle with a veil clipped got just underneath the 'mini-hive' attempt, and then I think it would look nice  as it is, without any accessories etc, it looks a bit odd, but if you can imagine it with your veil (if you are having one) then maybe not so bad?

Otherwise, I agree with honeybee

Thanks Ladies, aly888 I was going to have a veil at the bottom of the beehive and a delicate(SP) silver head band with tiny flowers on with little sparkly bits in the middle of the flowers.

But I just dont feel this would be right after looking back at the photos.

I not sure if my layers are long enough to curl, would you do this with straightners if so how do you do this, am not great with my hairstyles LOL

Thanks xxx

i did mine with a curling iron but it can be done with straightners but is difficult to explain lol u get the hair and curl it wrong the straightner while pulling down and curling around at the same time.

Now this picture is yrs old on my 18th bday, its the only one i cud fine that u can see my hair quiet well in lol
im the one with short blond curly hair :)

you can get mini tongs for very short hair- but id advise you to have a trial with your hairdresser!

moomin your hair looks great but unsure if my short layers will allow me to do this but I will give it a go and see what happens:blush:

Honeybee2 I think your right and I should just go back to my hairdressers LOL

I am now thinking maybe just lots of volume, lots of shine with no beehive

:hugs:

beehives are not always that great...take a look at these.

This one is where the ladies layers are tonged on the ends and pinned back

i had very short layers myself, but i would suggest u go to a different hairdresser for better ideas.

on my wedding day i also had fake lash inserts, really easy n cheap to do urself and they looked great

Thanks Hun there's loads of great ideas that you have posted I think the shine pic is more suited to my hair but I do like a few of the others too:)

so much more I would be able to have now thanks to you lovely ladies:hugs:

I also bought my veil yesterday so now need to be able to have this in my hairstyle too but am sure these styles will allow me to have this still.

Getting excited now, I go back to my hairdresser next saturday but the hotel am staying at will be doing my hair on my wedding day, so this is why I need to take ideas with me and try different styles out now and then take photos then they will know what I want doing.

Not the ideal way of doing this but I dont really have a choice as am going the day before the wedding

the day goes by so fast, after the i do's the day seems to be for everyone else which was frustrating. but ive never cried so much in my life hahaha

cant you have a trial with the hotel hairdresser?

I live around 3 hours away from the venue, therefore although I would love to have a trial with them I just couldnt afford the petrol for the round trip LOL

moomin dont tell that you cried thats one thing am dreading, when I keep think of saying my vows I get tears in my eyes and I know that OH will start crying as soon as I walk in.

I need to choose music to walk down the Isle to and keep looking at other posts on here but nothing seems to be suited apart from Leona Lewis (a moment like this)

I'm so unorganised

sorry lol
i cried soon as i left my room lol the oh started n he never crys, which him cryin made my mum cry haha

i wanted to walk down the isle to guns and roses novemeber rain, one of my fav songs, but oh n his mum ruined that n booked a bagpipe player which i wasnt happy about :growlmad: lol
