i'm at a loss for what to cook katie! she's started refusing foods, i think shes getting bored. with her not being 6 months yet, i've been holding off giving her meat, so its just veg combinations all the time. normally its some kind of mix with carrot, parsnip, sweet potato, potato, swede, apple, pear. that sort of thing. i tried giving her a bit of grape, tomato and plum earlier, she turned her head in disgust at all, and gagged at the plum!! (i wasnt shoving a whole on in her mouth lol!) so i dunno what to do. do i introduce a bit of meat for a bit of variety? does anyone have any good recipes i could give her? i'm such a stuck mummy today!!
she has apples and pears. i tried bananas, but she didnt like that. she has banana cereal tho! i gave her a bit of red pepper to munch on before and she qite liked that...til she threw it on the floor!!
have you thought about a little cheese, maybe mixed into a veg, like cauliflower or pasta and cheese, maddi adores this but maybe katie is a little young x
hmm Hannah has quite a variety but she's older We give her avocado, squash, pumpkin, apple, banana, Cheerios, cheese (grated pieces or cubes), broccoli, peas, mango, kiwi, pasta (you could always make sauce without the meat), sweet potato pieces....all of these I give as finger foods though, we rarely give her jars now
oh and if you look at the top of this section there's a sticky with some recipes I made an apple/sweet potato puree that Hannah liked oh and these websites https://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/pear-baby-food.html https://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/ https://www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/babies-6-9-months/baby_food_recipe_chicken_puree_carrots_apple
i wanted to hold off on dairy and meat until 6 months, but she's close enough now i suppose. i dont want to get her stuck on a few types of food tho xx
