people love to give there advice/opinions on labor/birth don't they?

"don'twory, you will deffo be late, its your first" = definitely,really???
similalryly:
"its a boy- he will be late" - the lady telling me this had a boy AND a girl..both late!

"sex deffo works" wich maybee id beleive if it was not followed by " i had sex and TWO DAYS later he was here!

"he wont be big, your mostly water" (x-ray vision?)
"hes going to be massive" oh was a big baby, and i was a good 8.5lb er.

I just hate the comments about labour being dreadful, agony blah blah. That kinda thing I'd really not helpful whatsoever. I sit there nodding and sympathising with the stories when really I want them to not go on about it. I'm not 'scared' by them...I just think it's uncomfortable to hear about and scaremongering unnecceserily over what is, in the end, a very happy event and people can have excellent labour experiences.

Well first off that's fat down there she's mid belly and it's a girl I've had enough scans to know
