I went to a youth group and there was a boy called Ziggy who went too. I LOVE this name but don't know if it's a bit too out there. What do you loverly ladies think?

Makes me think of that awful man who was on Big Brother, or David Bowie!!

I'm a teacher too and I can't see Ziggy being well accepted by the more opionated children!

xxx

:nope: i dont like it either.

Just reminds me of Ziggy Stardust.. sorry but noo :( it's a bit out there

I actually really like it. But only as a nickname. But if you can find a nice formal name that could be shortened to Ziggy, then I think that'd be cute.

I know a little boy called Ziggy, and hes very cute, but i really dont like the name, sorry :nope:. xx

I agree id only have it as a surname! When he turns a teenager he'd probably get taunted ovet it! How about zac? Then call him ziggy as a nickname! Xx

I agree - nickname but not real :shipw: I like it as a pet name better.

I think it works best for a nickname and that way he can have the option of whether he wants to go by that when he is older. Here are some Z names you might like:

Zane
Zander
Zev

thanks guys, I think it's because I have good connotations with the name. The guy I knew with the name was sooo lovely. But then when you remember the utter twirp on BB then it kinda goes sour :)

back to the drawing board xx
