    Oh my god what a crap invention. I have never seen them before. And if you haddent seen them before you would just drive round the corner, they would be down and you would just try to go over them!!! I know I would have done the exact same thing, then f***king sued the council. Tat must happen so much!

    I unedrstand that this was in Mnachester!

    And as for the wipers coming on, I would suspect this as the impact making the drivers hand/arm slip and turn them on.

    You'd be pretty thick to try it!
