This is probably a really stupid question but I'll ask it anyway

Right, I'm nearly 7 weeks. This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me. What does your stomach feel like when your bump starts to grow? I've got a bit of a tum anyway so you can't really see anything but when push on my stomach it feels firm underneath.

I can only press my stomach in about an inch whereas before I could press it in a lot more. So is this normal? I'm assuming it is and it's probably just my uterus but as I've never been through this before I was just wondering.

Well hun firstly i dont think any questions are stupid ones xxxxxx

As for bumps i cant remember how early the uterus rises up but in the early stages bumps are mostly bloating i think, like you get at the wrong time of the month only much worse and which if your anything like me can feel really hard!

well i also have a belly anyway and like you at times when i press it it feels firm but sometimes i just think i'm imagining it! I'm 8 weeks btw.

My neighbout on the other hand at 8 weeks had a very noticable bump!

sorry if it's not much help! but i've definitely put some weight on as my work trousers are feeling tight and uncomfortable!

    Hey hun
Any sort of 'bump' before 12 weeks is more than likely bloating, No matter how hard it is or how much it looks like a bump its probably bloating. The baby is still behind ur pelvis untill week 12. And at 7 weeks baby is about half an inch, so wouldnt be causing a noticable bump yet.
Im nearly 11 weeks and look HUGE! Wish it was a bump but sadly all bloat
