stupid question

Ok I feel so stupid haha but I can't figure out which code to use when putting a ticker into my signature. I see everyone with them counting down the days until the babys born and sometimes counting the days you have been with your OH but everytime i try to do it, it doesn't work.

What am i doing wrong?
