Have many people experience of failing to give ebm through a bottle but been fine with a sippy cup... LO is nearly 15 weeks and I've given up with bottle but hoping to try sippy cup at 4 months.

I tried Sophie with a TT sippy cup yesterday as she had not had a bottle for a month and just wanted to play with the teat. The sippy cup was great and really took to it but I am sure Milk should be in a bottle up to a certain age but this works for us.

Really? hmmmm, will speak to HV about it then.

my lo wont take a bottle at all - doesnt know what to do with it but she still slurp from a plastic cup (no spout - just a cup) but won't take milk from it - only water (i dont give her juice)

yep the Tommee Tippe free flow cup (for 4m+) worked for us, although Sophia was 6 months when we tried it. Did take a little while, but she certainly didn't scream the place down like when i put a bottle anywhere near her!

No, milk doesn't have to be in a bottle at any age - in fact if you're bfing it's fine to never give them a bottle! La started with a sippy cup at 4 months as she wouldn't take a bottle.
