I swear I don't even want to think about all the things I bought (before and after LO was born) that were such a waste of my money...

I just cancelled a new stroller order from Amazon (still waiting for confirmation)- because it hit me that with LO being 16mos, was it REALLY worth spending another $200 on yet another stroller that she may not even want to use in the next year or so? Especially when the one lightweight one we have is perfectly acceptable- I just don't like how it pushes sometimes? Really?! I've already had to sell a perfectly good stroller that didn't work for me- and bought another that I LOVE- but still... more wasted cash!

I don't even want to say how much I spent on the crib bedding set before LO was born- which, btw, was lovely- but since we couldn't use the bumpers (which I didn't know till we left the hospital) and once we lowered the crib at 6mos the skirt no longer fit and we removed that. So basically, I spent that money on a fitted sheet and a blanket we just started using when she turned 12mos... wow.

I think I need help... LOL... like baby shoppers anonymous. I even had to hold back buying a new high chair recently... ACK! What is wrong with me?

What have you all wasted money on???

Urgh! Remember that feeling well! :haha: I spent hundreds of pounds on useless colic remedies, colic mattresses, colic medicines, baby beanbags etc etc!! None of it worked but I remember being so desperate I would've tried anything (think I did). Looking back now, I realise I wasted a small fortune - and that was before my buggy/pram addiction started :/

Ahhh I know that sickening /guilty feeling so well! My big addiction is childrens clothes, I can't stop buying them and I'm not talking supermarket cheapies - unfortunately I have expensive taste!

Buggies i think i was obsessed when he was 1st born i had a really expensive one with carrycot, carseat parent facing or facing out ect then as soon as he was 6months i wanted a light weight one then 2months later i wanted a 3wheeler one so about £700 in buggies in 8months and now i have #2 on the way ive bought a double and a expensive single like did 1st time round and im already looking at 3wheelers for when hes a few months

I'm a toy buyer. I always have to look at the toy section and can hardly leave a shop without buying him another one.

The thing is he now has rooms full of toys and only plays with a select few. It's addictive, I dread when he is older and can ask for toys.

I'm a bit of a cloth nappy addict and spend way too much money on food!

I bought so much stuff I thought I needed before I had my first and realised it was a waste only a long time after, never used the cot, the pram I got was crap and he outgrew it at 8 months old. Lucky I got a refund for it still. stupid things like nappy stackers. Cot bedding course never used it and got loads of it. I cant remember what else I spent hundreds yet when Alex was born I just got him some new clothes if needed. Most the stuff you dont need and think you do or just want it.

Flat cot sheets. I'd love to meet the baby who can sleep all night in one position and without pulling the beautifully made bed apart.

Thank you...this made me laugh!!

I get a little clothes crazy. I've boxed up a lot of things with tags on it that she never wore.....don't know why I do that.

Spotty cot sheets to match his room but I've only ever used the same two even though I have about 10 different ones and clothes, my son has way too many and I have none!

I brought lo a blanket (it really is lovely I think it's called a coverlet) which cost £40... I know. Its Winnie the Pooh I got from mothercare when I was pregnant. They had loads of classic pooh stuff and it was lovely! I always remember when I was younger me and my brother had our own blankets and I guess I want to re create that. Now he is in a duvet it's not used that often. I do have a toy and clothing addiction tho. I shouldn't go into next :/

My biggest waste of money was my OBaby double buggy-I hated it and ended up selling it for a huge loss.
I also bought some cloth nappies that really didn't work well for DS. They were better for DD but by then I'd got used to the other cloth nappies I had.

Other than that I haven't really spent any wasted money.
I have had a lot of prams/buggies but tbh apart from the pram which i loved and the double which i hated they have all been used until they broke so I don't consider it wasted money.
