sugar in urine

Hiya im just wondering if anyone else has ad sugar in there urine.as its been clear up until now but had sugar in today so they want me to have a glucose tolerance test on 12th april .. is it normal to have sugar in urine but it not be gestatinol diabetes??xxx

hi some people have had sugar in there urine and gone on 2 have the test and came back negative have u eaten alot of sugar b4 u dont the sample that could b y there was sugar in there x

ive had sugar in my urine twice now, first time gtt came back fine but midwife is making me repeat it this tues! I did read that it can be normal to have sugar in urine or could just be that you ate alot of sugary things before you took the sample so i wouldnt worry.

i do drink a lot of coke and pop etc but to be honest ive not had much the past few days but i had a medium coke last night with my mcdonalds lol. but i wouldnt of thought this coulda been enough.i hadnt had anything sugary this morning just a glass of milk. xxx

was it a first morning pee sample you gave because a few weeks ago i had to give a urine sample on the spot which was about 4oclock is and it came back with sugar in it so i was all worried as they told me it was extremly high and to come back that monday for a fasting blood test i did that n then on the tuesday i spoke to my MW and she was raging that they had sampled my urine so late on and told me that when your pregnant the only urine sample that is reliable is your 1st morning pee...i was really worried about Gestation Diabeties but turns out its jus that everyone has sugar in there pee at the end of the day being pregnant just sometimes means theres more xx

I had a urine sample with high sugar a few weeks ago. They sent me for a glucose tolerance test, which came back well within normal range, and I haven't had any sugar in my samples since. I think it was the bottle of coke I'd had that day at lunch (the first in ages!) that caused the sample to be high, so I've been skipping that (mostly...) but otherwise eating normally.

had urine in my wee at my last check so they made me redo it as there was also protein and it was all ok, mw decided it was the sugar on my cornflakes and then the pick a mix I had on the way to the apt hehe xx
