Supportive mother in law :D

Thought it'd be nice to have a positive post about a mother in law

My MIL knows we're planning to have children "in the future" (she doesnt know just how soon ) so we were chatting and I was telling her about attachment parenting theories (see natural parenting thread if interested) and how I'm planning on cloth nappy'ing and as I said it I braced myself for the usual "urgh thats gross" or "god I couldnt be doing with all that washing" but the surprised me with a huge smile and "thats wonderful, I'm so happy you're going to be cloth nappying just like I did"

So yay for supportive MIL's

Awwwww that's lovely. I must say I like my MIL and used to get on with her really well but prepare yourself for the pregnancy hormones to make you go weird. Even the tiny things she does irritate me now LOL!

Ah I'm not saying she doesnt get on my nerves sometimes, she can nag for the best of them, but shes lovely and is so supportive of our choices, which is great because shes offered to look after future LO when I'm working (shes retiring this year).

It's great to have supportive MILs!

My MIL BF 2 of her children (DH being one of them!) until they were 2 years old. So I have lots of support from her on the BF front

Dont think she was so up on the breastfeeding thing, think she gets jealous that she cant feed her grandchild (BIL)'s a bottle every now and then...hopefully I'll be able to express also.

So cant wait, only 65 more days till we're trying

I'm seriously wishing away the next two months of my life I'm just so impatient, going to be terrible when I'm pregnant, can imagine myself telling my bump to hurry up cookin' lol!
