Suprise BFP, anyone else?

hello Ladies

seems im in the 1st try, or so the tests tell me, was wondering if anyone else got there BFP as a surprise and maybe aint so, erm... on cloud nine about it?

I have a 9 year old son and a 1 year old daughter and thought whoohoo we are sorted, no more babies! maybe a dog!

So i got two kittens and a positive pregnancy test ! lifes funny that way haha

i swore i wasnt pregnant beforehand but i had some old tests lieing around and thought id waste the rest of them since they were expiring soon. i was 8 dpo when i took them around the afternoon and to my surprise, all the dollar tests and frer gave me two lines. i was shocked i stared at them for hours trying to figure out if im seeing things. i took pictures, i sent them to my boyfriend, and i wasnt seeing things because he saw it too. the lines got even darker the next day and i found out all because i just thought of wasting the rest of my soon-to-expire tests.

We were surprised by ours, but not in the same sense.

I found out I was pregnant two years ago with my first pregnancy the first month we tried. That pregnancy sadly ended when our son was stillborn around 30 weeks.

We then struggled with unexplained infertility for well over a year. We were seeing a specialist and decided to take a break after many months.

On our first month of taking a break from them, positive test! They said they think it has to do with me getting serious and losing 30 lbs. We couldn't be happier!

Haha me! We were Ntnp so not really a surprise as such but very surprised it happened so quick there will be 18 months betwen DS and new baby

Im terrified! seriously didnt expect a positive, the OH is away out to his mates while i sit in with baby lol it hit me like a tonne of bricks, I always had the feeling of sickness with past 3 pregnancies but this one ( f this is one, only 5 tests with faint lines, maybe im not, 5 evaps? it is possible ) anywho, right now i feel tired, but that comes with being human, and ofc PMS symptoms is normally same as early pregnancy symptoms for me ( ive tested so many times for pregnancy before i caught on if AF is on her way im just gonna feel like that ) but even for pms, its really mild, ive been thinking myself in circles all day haha i normally... i dont... i think im in shock / denial / dont believe it / lost! lol

Last night id of laughed at myself for thinking id be on BnB today with positive tests and rambling on like a lunitic! Last night i had a beer while watching supernatural and drewling over sam and dean winchester! ( i say a beer i mean half a beer, it made me queezy lol ) but i got two evaps yesterday and was all " stoopid blue dye tests, would have been clear cept for evap! a pink on in the morning will be neg and i can carry on about my business" 110% believed no baby!

So yeah! deer in the headlights day, dunno which way is up!

That sort of happened with me...my little dude is 15 months old and when he got to about 8months we decided that we would stop using anything that might prevent us getting pregnant and see how it went.
It took us 18months to get our little guy and was about to start ivf so I had convinced myself it would take at least that long again or it would be just the 3 of us and I had really come to terms with it and actually quite liked the idea.
I was literally talking about it with my friend 2 days before testing.

We were going away and I was 2 days late, I took a test and lo and behold I was pregnant! It took around 4months this time!

Don't get me wrong I'm over the moon and everything but even now at 12wks I still cannot believe it!
I'm hoping that when I see the scan and that all is well that it will then sink in! Lol xx
