Sure Start Grant How Long Does It take?

This is 1st time ive claimed this (due to oh leaving me) so unsure how long it takes to come through does anybody know? I sent my forms last weds and they got them the next day as sent them recorded.

sent mine in on the 28th paid in to my bank on the 14th x

i done mine in dec 07 and i think it was about 2 weeks

mine took 2 weeks, that was in june this year

mine was in bank within 5days of them getting it.

i used to work for DWP in this section. it depends on IF all info on form is correct, they have to do checks with other benefits/income etc to make sure you qualify. all forms are manually put on pc and they are done in a-z order and this can delay from am to pm input and therefore delay info until next day. PLUS the odd form picked at random is sent for spot checking by managers which again delays.
