I have been on birth control and have a large intramural fibroid so getting pregnant wasn't even really on my radar. On New Year's Eve my period was due and hadn't shown up that morning. I generally have some spotting in the 2-3 days prior to my period, so I decided to take a dollar store cheapie that I had in the back of the linen closet.
Well, this guy popped up almost immediately!

So I told the hubby I was going to get coffee, hopped in my car, and headed to Wal-Mart for a digital. There was no denying it at that point!

So, we are cautiously expecting! I go to the doctor on Wednesday and I am hoping that everything is as it should be, even though it'll be too early to really see much. This came as a definite surprise, but we are so excited!
