Surprise!!!

Hi Everyone,

It has been a long time since I've been on these forums! I am 35 years old, 7 weeks pregnant (SURPRISE) after having an Endometrial ablation (EA) done back in February 2016. Everything during this pregnancy will be scary and I'm praying for the best outcome.

I have had an ultrasound showing baby with strong heart beat and blood draw for progesterone level. My p level is only 12.5 and I started progesterone supplements yesterday.

Anyone else have low p levels and make it out ok? Anyone else have pregnancy post EA?

Congrats hun! My p was less than 5 and so far I'm 11 weeks. I had 200 mg progesterone supplements until 9 weeks.

So just curious, I thought a EA was suppose to prevent a pregnancy?

Krissie - yes, my Doc said the EA would make it 99.9999% positive that I would never conceive again....SURPRISE!!! Haha.

This will be a very scary and high risk pregnancy due to the EA and scar tissue left in the uterus from that procedure. I'm just going to keep fingers crossed and pray for healthy Baby and healthy Mommy.
