We have a new bath seat and I misjudged how much water I put in and when I was getting in she wriggled down the seat and when I got in it sloshed in LO's face and she swallowed some.

Bad mum

I was trying to be careful that she doesn't get cold as she's been ill and managed to domore harm. Not feeling very positive about my capability as a mother today

Its ok, you mite just find she wees loads.

My LO eats the bubbles and drinks the water (well she sucks it out of the flannel)

Dont worry :hugs:

V xxxx

Summer would happily swallow the water if I let her. She's always trying to eat the bubbles etc. Don't worry :) xx

oh my boys drink their bath water, my eldest trys to drink the pool water too they will just pee it out

aw hun dont feel bad, im sure you are doing a great job

Kane always eats the bubbles and his new thing is rolling while in the bath and that means drinking loads of the water

dont worry, no harm will come and as they get older they eat far things lol

xx

Gabriel loves to drink the bath water. He rolls onto his side so he can get to it. He'll also happily suck it out of the wash cloth. I generally try to discourage his drinking too much of it, but a little won't do any harm.

Snap - my LO loves to eat the bubbles and always tries to put her head in the water to drink it. Don't think it will do them any harm :hugs:

Ruby LOVES drinking the bath water! But yeah I try and stop her.

My mum and I were bathing LO the other day and she was reminiscing affectionately about how I used to drink bath water and suck flannels all the time - so it clearly never caused me any problems!

we always have the bath water deep so Sophie can have a little swim, she loves being on her front and often swallows the bath water!!! dont worry it wont do no harm :)

That doesn't make you a bad mum hun. I honestly wouldn't worry. I put LO in the bath yesterday and she rolled over but instead of rolling back so her face was out the water she proceeded to roll towards the water. She swallowed loads and the bubbles and she's absolutely fine. She needed burping but apart from that no problems out the ordinary..She'll be fine :hugs: Stop doubting yourself!

Don't feel bad, I was rinsing LO and I accidently poured some water in his mouth... and he choked a little:blush:. At least you didn't do that.

Kye has been drinking bath water since he was old enough to be in the bath with out support he purposlly dips his mouth in and drinks the water lol
