sweep on friday

im having a sweep on friday does but want to try and bring him on before then any ideas?

also how long after a sweep does it take to go into labour?

Yey!! Have u tried reflexology? There are certain pressure points that can actuall induce labour ! Worth a try xx

Good luck hun, they say they can work up to 48 hours after, i'm on my second one now, had it at half ten, lots of braxton hicks so far but nothing else! Midwife said it had done 'something' tho! Got a third one on thursday!

my first one did, but todays only hurt when i had it done, felt much better!! i'm booked in at the hospital for an indction on sunday if all else fails!

supose a sweep is nothing compared to labour so im gonna have to deal with it lol just prefur not to have MW do it lol x

i have my first sweep with this one on fri too so fingers crossed it works with one of us.. my midwife has said to me if it works then it will normally be between 24-48hrs for summit to happpen but she also said if the body aint ready and prepared proper for labour then no amount of sweeps are gonna work

I have mine Friday too (due tomorrow) never had one before so bit nervous. Midwife coming to house to do it, anyone else having theirs at home?
I thought it was bit strange that they do it at home!
