Sweet middle name

Hi all. DH and I are expecting our first, a little girl, and have settled on Evelyn (nn Evie) as her name.

However we are struggling with middle names.

Initially I likes Audrey but we have a two syllable last name as well and I think perhaps a shorter middle name will flow better (and DH wasnt really sold on it either -however I wasnt sold on Evie but he was adamant so I did compromise for him as I didnt hate it so he has left middle name to me).

So far I have liked:
Evelyn Kate
Evelyn Marie (my mothers mn)
Evelyn Rose
Evelyn Grace

But Im not completely sold on any of them so would appreciate your thoughts or alternative suggestions.

I do tend to prefer sweet, pretty, feminine names and DH likes fairly classic names.

All your ideas are lovely! If I had to pick, it go with Marie as there's a family connection. I like having middle names mean something, as they're usually silent anyway so I think a bit pointless if they're just another name. So if it was me looking for inspiration, I'd look up names of great grannies and other family members, or think about using the name of a friend or person I admire or think of an attribute that is meaningful to this baby and find a name to match. How about your own name(s) or your maiden name?

My daughter is called Isabelle Evelyn, and I love the name Evelyn. She's named after her maternal great Grandmas and we went with Evelyn as the middle name as one of my husbands cousins already has Evelyn as a first name.

I think Evelyn Kate is lovely, but that's probably because we are thinking of Kate as a middle name too if we have a girl
