Is anyone buying both? My mam said she was going to be getting us the swing as a present but i just phoned her to ask a question about a bouncy chair and she said "oh i was gonna get you that" i then said "yeah a swing?" an she then said, if we get a swing we don't need a bouncer, but i was under the impression, we'd need both? well not "need" but most people who buy a swing also buy a bouncy chair?

I'm not going to bother with a swing, we don't have room for both and my 2 best friends bought both for their babies and both said they never really used the swing and wish they hadn't bothered. That's a good enough recommendation for me!

mine were the opposite lol both had the swing and bouncy chair and both lived in the swing, great for sending them to sleep lol and this time im just going to buy the swing and not bother with the bouncy chair!!!!

I have always had Bouncers and decided this time to have a swing i havent bought a chair thought i would use just the swing x

I think we will have both, we have bought a small swing which looks really cute in his bedroom and may come in use when hes being wingy at night and for quiet time. The bouncer will be used in the livingroom

I would say swing.. I found that I could put Euan in it as a newborn too as they are so well supported and it was nice that the swing would swing by itself and it was soothing so I would have a bit more time to myself to do some stuff make dinner etc... i found that i could not use a bouncer till he was much older obviously and he never really liked it tbh but he loved the swing until he was over the weight limit.

I gave my bouncer away and kept the swing.... it will be out of the storage in no time.

I have both everyone I know swears by the swing and the bouncy chair is smaller so I figure I can use it where ever the swing won't go and I can bring it places.

I've got a chicco rocker instead of a bouncer. They are brilliant, I had one for each of my boys. They used to nap in them really comfortably, and I found them much sturdier than bouncy chairs. They last longer too as they don't tip as easily as a bouncer when baby gets a bit heavier, and I used to feed them in it when I was weaning them.

The one I've got this time has a detatchable toy bar over the top for baby to play with, and a little insert to make it more comfy for newborns.

I never bothered with a swing, but they do look like fun!

We bought the bouncy chair today, an my mams still gettin us a swing, so i guess we'll have both lol.

i have both, i bought the swing one with all the light and stuff and then my mum just got us a little bouncer to take to her house etc or ML easy travel then carrying the big swing about only reason we got 1 thinking it be easier xx

with my first i had both. my duaghter was very nosey from begining and like being able to see what was going on around her. so during the day while she was awake would sit her in bouncer. when needed to calm her down for nap time would out her in swing and it helped lul her to sleep.
