Please help! I am 34 weeks and feeling great, EXCEPT, my feet and ankles are SO swollen by the end of the day... embarrassingly swollen. I spoke to by OBGYN and he said there really isn't anything I can do... I can't believe that. Anyone been dealing with this as well and has discovered the magic cure?

I've had this too. My feet actually hurt b/c they are swollen by the end of the day! I work at a desk all day and have put a box under my desk and try to prop up my feet whenever i can. Then as soon as I get home I prop them up until bed. This has helped me alot!

I get swollen feet too - a lot :( I cant fit into any of my old shoes most of the time so have resorted to wearing flip flops. I find the only thing that helps is putting my feet up - ideally so my feet are higher than my chest/heart. That does seem to work a bit - but my feet are still not their usual size....

I've had this for weeks! First off, don't wear socks and wear light shoes so they don't restrict. Try elevating them when you get home (laying down so they can be above your heart). Put ice packs on them as well when your lying down. Drink lots of fluids, that will flush your system. Not sure what else, but your certainly not alone. Mine were blue by the end of the day and were in terrible pain from walking down stairs. It's not fun at all. Hope it eases up quickly!
