Since my 12week scan seems sooooooooooooo far away (26/02) I've bit the bullet and ordered a Doppler on eBay. I has to do something since my symptoms have been gone for almost 2 week now, as soon as I pressed the "confirm order" button it's as though my body knew and some of my symptoms came back haha. Well, I think they are but maybe I'm just trying to find them, a bit like being in 2ww again. Boobs slightly sore, certain smells really hitting me and making me feel a bit sicky and a couple of cramps. Hurray...I hope haha. I'm totally prepared for not being able to find the heartbeat straight away, if at all, but at least I will feel like I've done something to reassure myself instead of sitting here going crazy and just crying to myself haha :) :) xxx

Oh my goodness! I may join you! I will be 9 weeks tomorrow. Had my scan at 8+2 but then my severe morning sickness has been lessening since 8+4! I have been freaking out but if your symptoms went away around then and you are ok, I feel a lot better! What kind of doppler did you get???

My symptoms came and went a lot in the early days :)

I first found the HB on the doppler at 12+6. I thought id find it straight away and had a few stressful weeks. Just remember its very low down and hard to find in the earlier weeks do dont panic! It took me 45mins as an average until I was a bit further on

Well everyone keeps telling me that symptoms do start to go at around 9 week as the placenta starts to take over but I guess you never really trust that haha. You're lucky to have had a scan Hun, I haven't had anything so I am so so worried about everything,I am sure the next week will fly by though (fingers crossed) I ordered an angelsounds one as apparently those are the best for picking something up earlier, well, they say from 12 week but I've read of some picking heartbeats up a 9 week and some not until 14 so I'm not worrying too much I just need to feel less useless haha. It cost me £20 as a buy it now so I reckon that's a bargain xx
