Just reading thru my hospital notes and seen that this T. pallidum antibody is not detected. Its also said please repeat incase of infection. I understand what antibodies are (eg help fight again the diease) but what is T. pallidum?

syphilis? I think. I think they test for syphilis, and HIV, and a bunch of others don't they? I'd assume not having the antibody was good? But then, I don't realy know what im talking about. Sorry.

ooooooooooo. They said i was negative for HIV so thats good.

Ok thanks

This is the definition given in an online medical dictionary:

A spirochete that causes syphilis in humans.
