Afternoon ladies

For those of you who have Taggies does your LO like it?

Where can you buy them?

I'd like to get a little comforter and she seems to like to suck the labels on her soft toys lol

Are there different types and are they expensive?
xx

I think you can get them from ebay. The 'Taggie' blankets cost about 20 quid which i thought was extortionate!! But i'm sure you can get non 'taggie' blankets.

I'd never heard of them until a friend of mine gave me one as she thought my daughter might like it (she's always sucking labels!). She sucks the little tags so much that the coloured spot pattern has disappeared completely :haha:

Try here:

If you're okay with sewing (and have time) I made my LO a taggie blanket:

If you PM me I can tell you how. She absolutely loves it :cloud9: I have to add that my sewing skills are very basic, and this is really easy to make; if it wasn't, I wouldn't have been able to make it. If you have a machine it may take a couple of hours, but I sewed by hand and it took about 6 hours.

the ones you buy are quite expensive, which is why I decided to make one. In the shops they're about £20, but mine cost me about £8 (Cath Kidston material from ebay, postage and ribbon). On top of that, you get to co-ordinate it all yourself; colours you like, ribbons you like etc.

YAY!!!
Taggies!!!
Our 6yr old still has his and loves, loves, loves it.
We got it when he was a little baby instead of a dummy to suck, stroke, whatever.
It gets 2 washes a year (in non smelly stuff - his advice).
It is manky and smelly but he loves it.
We bought a tiny non genuine one for ella off ebay and although it was similar it had fleece one side (not as soft as genuine taggie fleece) and some harsh cotton the other, think tea towel rather than tshirt.
I would say go genuine - they are quite big and we paid £17.99 for a real one for Ella.
They wash well and last for years.
Go onto https://www.haptic.co.uk
You can get all sorts - cushions, sleepsuits, balls, toys, bed blankets.
We love taggies!!

Well done - gorgeous!!
I would but I can't even sew a button on :nope:

I have bought a 'Taggy' fro someone from ebay and it has been personalised with tobi's name and date of birth, its a comforter rather than blanket and he loves it.

A friend of mine makes them along with bandana bibs etc on Bebe + Me - £10 each, lots of different options

Evie loves her taggie, bless her. She wont go anywhere without it! Her's was given to her by my best friend who's little girl had grown out of using one, but she got it from Ebay I believe.

There's a BnB member who makes taggies too, if you have Facebook, do a search for Snowball Sensations. There's many different designs and they're very reasonably priced too  I'm thinking of getting another one so that I have a spare in case one is in the wash

This is what Daniel has. The quality is excellent and it is soooo soft. One side is blue fleece (you can also get Red or pink) and the other side is black and white, as thats what little babies see best)
I got it from this ebay seller.

Thats exactly like the one I have for Tobi!!

Daisy's was a pressie off my friend and she got it here:
https://www.raggy-tag.com/

I have ours from Jellibabies on Ebay. I requested the very hungry catterpillar fabric and bright ribbons, and an embroidered baby picture on the reverse with Ethan's name and date of birth. He loves it.
I might make a bigger one myself though, as a little project :)

I bought Brady one from John Lewis and it was like £17 because he loved labels, but it was a waste of money, he rarely plays with it and when he does he plays with the actual label on it and not the bright colourful tags...weirdo. He just loves his muslin more than anything.
